John Rovegno
Chief Information Officer
John Rovegno is the Chief Information Officer for Loeb Enterprises. He is responsible for the architecture, development, deployment and maintenance of all the company’s technical assets. From 1992 to 2005, Mr. Rovegno was the CIO and CTO for the Synapse Group, Inc. where he oversaw the development of that company’s award winning systems. Described as the “first working example of the extranet” by the Gartner Group, the system which Mr. Rovegno designed and developed linked over 200 partner companies to the fulfillment centers of over 1,000 publishers and handled over 100 million transactions and customer care events annually. Under Mr. Rovegno’s direction were over 100 developers working directly for Synapse and an even larger number who were outsourced in operations that spanned seven different countries.
Prior to joining Synapse, Mr. Rovegno held various positions with Cendant Corporation. He received his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from George Washington University and graduated from the University of Connecticut’s MBA program. He has two children and lives in Stamford, CT.
